Crews made up of some of the best sailors in the world. Identical catamarans, with foils and rigid wingsails, capable of speeding at 50 knots (almost 100 km/h). Breathtaking races lasting a maximum of fifteen minutes. A season organised on the seas of five continents. Inaugurated in 2019, the SailGP circuit has redefined the world of boat racing with innovative catamarans undergoing continuous improvement. These flying yachts sporting the colours of the countries they represent embody the present and future of the sport.

The SailGP championship also gave rise to the Impact League, the Women’s Pathway programme and SailGP Inspire, initiatives that aim to promote sustainability and diversity in the sailing world.
